About CruiseWeaver
CruiseWeaver helps travelers bring multiple cruises, destinations, and time ashore together into one connected journey.
Where the idea began
As an avid cruiser, I wanted to plan a vacation that combined several cruises with time to visit friends along the way.
That meant searching multiple websites for sailings, checking that the dates aligned, and working out whether I had enough time between cruises to change ports. Every possibility brought another set of details to check.
I thought there must be an easier way to plan this kind of trip. When I couldn’t find one, I decided to build it.

From connecting cruises to designing journeys
The first version was a simple web app that stitched cruises together. As I refined it, the challenge became more interesting: matching dates was only the beginning.
A journey also needed to account for the time and travel between ports, room for a longer stay, and the choices that make a trip feel thoughtfully put together.
As those rules grew, I developed a dedicated engine to handle them. That engine became Argo.
The products behind the journey
CruiseWeaver is the Journey Designer travelers use to shape and explore multi-cruise trips. Argo — Sea Journey Intelligence is the engine that applies the rules and logic needed to construct those journeys.
They are separate products developed together, with CruiseWeaver serving as the first application of Argo’s capabilities.
Both are products of Tangent Travel Technologies, LLC, founded to develop travel intelligence that helps people construct meaningful journeys.
Argo and CruiseWeaver are the starting point. Over time, Tangent plans to introduce companion engines and products that extend intelligent planning to more aspects of travel.
Visit Tangent TravelCruiseWeaver is currently in invitation-only alpha. Feedback from early travelers is helping shape its development.
